The shy and withdrawn true son of Hawking, Tobor was captured by the Dark Legion when he fell in the invasion, and he was replaced in-Brotherhood by the treacherous Moritori Rex. He was broken down by the concerted efforts of several Legionnaires and Moritori, and when they were all consigned to the Twilight Zone, he barely recognised any of his family (no surprise, as he hadn't so much as seen Spectre or any of the others born).

History[]

Pre-RP - Much like the events of the Knuckles comic book, Tobor failed in his first stand as a Guardian in his father's absence, and was buried in the collapsed ruins with Moritori after they were transported there during their skirmish. For the purposes of SS, Tobor was dug out by the Dark Legion and made prisoner. Instead of wandering the surface of Mobius, as the comic portrays, the young Echidna was nursed back to health, including replacing his beyond-hope eyes with frightening looking bionic ones, and implanting other, less obvious circuitry about his person.

Aside from visits from the gloating Moritori Rex, and occasional periods of random torture without a cause, Tobor was left in complete solitary, food delivered through a chute, similarly with cleaning supplies, and dirtied trays were sent down a chute, both adjusting him to a highly structured life in the DL, and trying to break him down. Despite his best efforts, it was actually starting to work, especially when 'kinder' Legionnaires began to visit him and engage in conversation, steadily manipulating his worldviews and degrading his very moral structure until he was a mere shell of his former self, beyond cynicism, beyond caring, and theoretically, beyond pain.

Through the influence and 'peer pressure' mentality (surprisingly effective), they managed to get him into Legionnaire robes (his regular clothing having been appropriated by Moritori for a more 'worthy' cause) and out into the Legion commons. Regardless, he was lumped in with Finitevus as a 'threat' along with Moritori, several other notable factions of the Legion and the Brotherhood when thrown into the Twilight Zone. Since then, he has been 'recaptured', and his family is unaware that 'their' Tobor is within reach.
